About us

Who are the firdaus sisters?

We are a group of sisters and friends, united by our love of Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ.
Our hope is to shed light on topics of Islam, to build a safe and supportive community, and to remind one another of our ultimate purpose so that, by Allah’s mercy, we may be among those who are shaded under His Throne on the Day when there is no shade except His.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Seven are shaded by Allah in His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His:
a just leader, a youth who grows up worshipping Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, meeting and parting upon that, a man who resists the call of a woman of status and beauty saying, ‘I fear Allah,’ a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right has given, and a man who remembers Allah in solitude until his eyes overflow with tears.”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

Our Voyage to Light 🌙

Life is not without its storms. The ocean of this dunya often feels dark and overwhelming, its waves threatening to pull us under. Yet, even amidst the chaos, Allah places within our hearts a light “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur Rasul Allah”.

This light becomes our anchor. The Qur’an is our map, and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ is our compass, guiding us through the tides. Together, we set sail on this voyage to Allah, The Light of the heavens and the earth.

Our journey will explore:

  • Tawheed – knowing Allah as our Creator, Lord, and only One worthy of worship.
  • His Names & Attributes – learning Who Allah is so we can love and worship Him better.
  • Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ – walking in his footsteps, understanding his sacrifices and guidance.
  • Tazkiyah (Purification) – refining our hearts and actions to draw nearer to Allah.

And in between, we will share real-life stories, including those of sisters who embraced Islam, so that their journeys can inspire and uplift us all.

Our Mission

Firdaus Sisters is more than just a blog. It is our سفينة النجاة (ship of salvation) — a community sailing together, seeking Allah’s pleasure, reminding each other with Qur’an and Sunnah, and supporting one another until, insha’Allah, we meet again in Jannah al-Firdaus
